RETURNS

 

Period

 

Our policy allows 30 days. If after 30 days have passed by since your purchase and we receive no communication from you that our product did not meet your expectations, or an indication of intention to claim for return or refund then we unfortunately can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

 

30 day we feel is a sufficient period and is based off the standard delivery time shown by New Zealand Post where the average shipping, at its slowest is 6 – 10 working days. 

 

Conditions

 

As 'A Penny for your Thoughts' provides a variety of differences in our products and services, certain aspects of these goods and services are exempt from being a sufficient reason under our Returns Policy.

 

Bottle and parts;

 

The bottle and parts associated are the packaging. Their purpose is to both preserve and complement the literature. To serve as a distinctive and eloquent method of presentation.

 

Due to the nature of various components, (all elements described in the Physical Description should be present), identical consistency between products will not exist. While we endeavour to try to maintain an exactness as much as we can, failing this will be due largely to the fact that assembly and process are all done by hand and to order.

 

Things to this effect would include, but not limited to, bag shades and colours (Unless otherwise specified), length of cords, quality of wax seal, tea stain effect, intensity of aroma, to name a few.

 

Literature;

 

The literature is the real product of ‘A Penny for your Thoughts’. Methods, practises, energies and procedures, both physical and intangible is what sets us apart from any other similar providers. It is why you choose this product.

 

Services, custom in nature, or created based on personalized specifications may also not specifically fit under the returns policy due to their tailored nature.

 

In these instances, but not limited to these, we would not accept the return, unless the fault falls under our responsibility. Circumstances based on a dislike for the literature, inconsistency of ink, shade of ink, fonts, wrong message, or anything of this nature are not sufficient reasons for returns. It is important that you specify, and double check everything, including spelling, punctuation, etc. This also include words spelt differently. We use UK English not US, which means ‘colour’ has a ‘u’ in it.

 

We will amend when possible and will ask for your final proof on your personal messages before finalizing the order. If an error has passed your final check then we will not be held responsible.

 

We will happily accept a return if:

  • You have received a message that differs from the finalized ordered.
  • If you receive your product however specified elements from your order are missing.
  • If there has been an error in the assembly.
  • You have received damaged product. (See shipping section)

 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

 

We require a receipt or proof of purchase.

 

Received damaged goods;

 

If you receive damaged goods please contact us. We will deal with the delivery company and get a replacement out to you immediately.

 

Please send us any pictures to accompany your correspondence. This will aid us immensely in the replacement process.

 

Refunds;

 

Failing to meet or exceed an expected outcome, anticipated feeling or fulfil ones therapeutic needs is not measurable. The experience is different for every person. As this is the case, as a rule, we don’t usually give refunds. However, as each circumstance is different it may be considered.

Exchanges;

 

As described above, we only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at dan@apennyforyourthoughts.kiwi and we will happily proceed to resolve any issues.

 

Shipping;

 

Contact us to when returning your damaged goods. Email us at dan@appenyforyourthoughts.kiwi.

 

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

 

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

 

Should you have received damaged goods, contact us immediately and we will deal directly with the delivery company ourselves.
